The goal of every one of our services is to meet with the God of all creation. He has made this possible through the Bible and through Prayer. The Holy Spirit works through these to minister to us God's grace and peace and to produce in our lives His own fruit. He also works through the gifts that He has given to each believer. So we gather corporately to minister to one another, to pray and to study the Scriptures.

It’s up to you! We come together several times a week to worship the Lord. We’d suggest starting with our weekly Sunday worship services at 11 AM. We also meet at 10 AM for Sunday school prior to the main service.

Our services last about an hour.
Each service starts off with singing hymns and prayer. After worshiping with a few songs and prayers, our pastor leads us in a study of the Word. We usually go through a specific book of the Bible over a period of several months.
Afterwards, we conclude our service with another song, prayer, and a tithe collection.

Our folks generally show up in their Sunday Best for our Sunday Morning Worship Service. We don't encourage folks to show off or to spend a lot of money for particular types of clothing. Our desire is simply to present ourselves before our God in a reverent and respectful way.
The Sunday Evening and Wednesday Evening services tend to be a little more casual.

Just bring yourself!
We do encourage everyone to bring a Bible - whether it’s a physical copy or a digital one. We'll open our Bibles in almost every gathering. If you don't have a Bible, we'll be glad to provide one for you. Or, there are free Bible apps that are easy to download on your phone. Regardless, please don’t let this stop you from coming — we are all coming to learn more about the Lord each week!

No, we never ask our visitors to tithe. Tithing is something that our members believe in as part of worshiping and honoring our God, and we would not expect our visitors to contribute to this part of our mission. If it’s something that you would like to do, then we always appreciate it.

First, we love children. The Lord has always seemed to place a desire to minister to children on the hearts of our congegration. You will see this ministry attitude in our Nursery, Children's Church, Patch the Pirate Clubs, and Vacation Bible School ministries.
We have Sunday School classes for all ages. We provide a nursery during all services for children through age 3. If you’d prefer to keep your children with you during the service, you are more than welcome to do so.

Absolutely! We have a well-built ramp right next to one of our main entrances. There is plenty of seating, including an extra row’s worth of space for wheelchairs. We’re happy to be an accessible church!

We understand - it can be overwhelming! If you have concerns about your personal relationship with God and would like to speak to someone, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are all coming to church because we each need God every day - you aren’t alone. You can send an email to grace@graceinhampton.com, call us at 757-766-3020, or speak to our pastor before/after one of our services.
